Experience:
Mr. Didier is proficient in all aspects of the architectural process. His project experience is very diverse. Having worked for Salco Construction, Lamar Construction and Jenkins Construction, his background in construction offers a unique perspective and insight on merging creativity and imagination with "real world experience."
Mr. Didier has been with Jerry L. Watts & Associates, LLC for 11 years where he has been responsible for and acted as Project Architect and Designer for over three dozen East Baton Rouge School System projects. These projects have consisted of new classroom additions, renovations, roof replacements and specialty projects such as Baton Rouge Magnet High School elevator installation, Staring Alternative Middle School, McKinley High School Fine Arts Studios, and outdoor pavilions at Merrydale, Beechwood and Forest Heights Schools. He has performed architectural services for almost every school campus in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Mr. Didier’s passion for architecture has spawned several designs of recreational facilities for clients such as Ultima Fitness Center and Bocage Racquet Club, which offer a unique and creative approach to the design solution. Mestizo’s Restaurant, Jack Owens Dental Clinic, interior renovations for Starmount Insurance, office buildings for The Quarters Office Complex and Delmont Service Center are among the many projects designed or managed by Mr. Didier.
While at the Orlando, Florida based firm of Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Mr. Didier acted as Project Manager for projects across the United States with construction costs ranging from $500,000 to $80,000,000. These projects include numerous Walgreen's Drugs, Eckerd Drugs, several strip malls located in and around the Orlando area, The Irish Pub location in Atlanta, Georgia, and Point Orlando, a 600,000 square foot mall located near the Walt Disney World Resort.
