Experience:

Simon, an honors graduate from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, joined the team in 2007. As an athlete, student, and employee Simon has been recognized for his hard work, respect for others and passionate personality. Because of his extensive travel experiences and his multicultural background Simon has a developed understanding of the cultural aspects of Architecture and the importance of culture in Architecture. Fluent in 3 languages, Simon seeks to acquire a great understanding of others that influence and develop the design process.

Simon’s experience ranges from commercial projects, residential projects to student’s services facilities in many University campuses through out the nation. His nationwide experience along with his desire to interact with those affected by the projects ensures a great relationship to take place during the design, construction and completions of projects. Since joining the Watts Team, Simon has designed and managed such projects as: Baton Rouge Magnet High Restoration, Camille's Sidewalk Cafe, Ingleside United Methodist Church Reconstruction, LSU - CEBA Door Replacement.

Simon is the current president elect of the AIA Associates committee in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With a team effort between the committee and local entities Simon is heavily involved in programs to develop the community. This position helps and encourages him to stay at the forefront of all technology advances and technical information regarding the Architectural field. As a happily married father of two infants, Simon understands commitment and possesses an ability to multitask and manage others.

Some of Simon's athletic career achievements include:

• • • • •Latin American and Colombian National Champion and record holder from 1992 until 1998
• • • • •World Games record holder in 1997 for water-skiing
• • • • •Bronze medalists at the 1999 Pan-American Games in water-skiing
• • • • •US Collegiate National Champion 1997, 1998, 2000
